Complete alloy wheel refurbishment

A full finish refresh for wheels affected by wear, corrosion, scratches or tired coatings.

What this service does

Full refurbishment removes the worn finish, prepares appropriate surface damage and rebuilds the appearance of the wheel. It is the most complete route when a quick local repair would leave inconsistent colour or corrosion behind.

The correct process depends on whether the wheel has a painted, powder-coated or diamond-cut finish. After inspection, the old finish is removed, suitable cosmetic damage is prepared and any agreed repair work is completed. The wheel is then refinished using the selected system and checked for consistency.

When it may be suitable

  • Corrosion, peeling lacquer and widespread finish deterioration
  • Multiple scuffs or scratches across the wheel
  • Changing the colour of a complete wheel set
  • Combining suitable repair work with a fresh final finish
Refurbishment restores appearance and can incorporate appropriate repairs, but it does not make every structurally damaged wheel serviceable. Repairability is assessed first.

Full refurbishment or local repair?

A small local repair may suit isolated cosmetic damage. Full refurbishment is often better where corrosion, widespread marks, previous poor repairs or colour inconsistency affect the whole wheel.

Matching an existing wheel

Age, cleaning products and exposure can change the appearance of an older finish. If an exact match matters, completing wheels as a pair or full set may produce a more consistent result.
